This is another tip for people around looking for places to work outside restaurants and bar. We decided to put together a helpful piece on proper study rooms and libraries to work in Lekki.
Unlike other cities outside Nigeria, there are public libraries available but here most of them are privately managed. Here are some of the places you could go to work, study in lekki at any time.
Liam & Noel’s book club/Library in Lekki

The book club and library is probably the oldest in Lekki. They have been around a couple of years. The library offers In-house reading, borrowing, internet use, book reading for kids, book sales and a working space.
It looks like a children’s library walking in but they have books for everyone. They separated the space for children and adult working space. They also have a lounge for people who just want to read books and don’t want to use their laptops. It is not as big as it used to be because they moved from the front end of the building to the back. It is always very peaceful there to work.
They charge N3000 per day and they are open from 9am to 6pm.
Capital squa is one of the few coworking spaces in lagos, where people from different businesses come to work everyday or once in a while. Their environment encourages a lot of creativity with wall arts and I will consider it a fun working environment for anyone to work. They organize events to encourage entrepreneurs in the space.
It is not free to work at capital sqr except for Jelly fridays but they have different plans available for small businesses to occupy a space at the hub. It costs N2000 wifi inclusive to work for a day.
Is another unique study space, it is not exactly a library with books but it is just the concept. Lean hub is like a really cool office space that allows different people to come together to work and study. The coolest thing about lean hub is how they have multiple study rooms/work space including an open lounge. So you can work from any of them or relax on the sofa’s and work from the lounge.
They also have free wifi for everyone who wants to work or study. It is usually peaceful and for company’s or teams working on a project they have a separate space for people who want to work together.
To work there for a day is N2000 wifi inclusive and they are open from 6am to 12midnight.

I know most of you know Stranger lagos as a concept store but now it has been revamped to include a coworking space for people who want to work or have meetings. They now have tables with chairs and sockets for laptop plugins around the cafe area. It is the perfect place to relax as well with freshly brewed coffee and fresh pastries.
Stranger lagos doesn’t charge to use the space now but you need to purchase something from the cafe to work there overtime. They also don’t have free wifi so you have to come with your wifi to work there.
During the weekdays it is really peaceful just people working and enjoying things from the cafe. Open from 10am to 10pm
